South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024

South Eastern Railway invites online applications from eligible regular railway employees of South Eastern Railway (excluding RPF/RPSF Personnel, Law Assistants, Catering Supervisors) for filling the following vacancies under the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) quota.

Eligibility Criteria

General Conditions:

• Only eligible serving regular/permanent railway employees of South Eastern Railway are eligible.

• Employees should be working in grades lower than the notified posts.

• Candidates must ensure their eligibility as per the medical standards for the post.

• Candidates currently working in the same post are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2024):

• General: 42 years

• OBC: 45 years

• SC/ST: 47 years

Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP): Matriculation/SSLC + ITI in relevant trades OR 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering OR Degree in these disciplines.

• Trains Manager (Goods Guard): Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Selection Process

• Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP): Single stage CBT followed by an Aptitude Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

• Trains Manager (Goods Guard): Single stage CBT followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

• Follow the steps and instructions mentioned in the notification carefully.

• Only one application per candidate is allowed.

Document Requirements

• Recent passport size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression.

• Proof of age, educational qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), and Employee Certificate (Annexure-1).

• उमेदवारांनी पदासाठीच्या वैद्यकीय मानकांनुसार त्यांची पात्रता सुनिश्चित करावी.

• सध्या त्याच पदावर काम करणारे उमेदवार अर्ज करण्यास पात्र नाहीत.

• सामान्य: 42 वर्षे

निवड प्रक्रिया

• सहाय्यक लोको पायलट (ALP): एकच CBT, योग्यता चाचणी, कागदपत्र पडताळणी, आणि वैद्यकीय परीक्षा.

• गार्ड (मालवाहतूक): एकच CBT, कागदपत्र पडताळणी, आणि वैद्यकीय परीक्षा.
